Gerry Iuppa

I’m thrilled to join Image City Photography Gallery as one of its newest partners!  This exciting step follows wonderful experiences sharing my work in past exhibitions and participating in the Image City Photography Critic Group.  Indeed, I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was sixteen, when I first discovered the joy of taking pictures.  

Over the span of my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving students and families in multiple roles: as a school psychologist, a special educator, and ultimately as the principle of Gates Chili Middle School.   I have also served as an adjunct associate professor at local colleges, contributing to the development of future educators. 

There’s not enough time in life to ignore the pull of diverse interests.  Following retirement, I had the good fortune to participate in coursework at RIT’s School of Photographic Arts and Sciences, and that exposure was amazing! I have worked as a professional photographer for the past 12 years, handling a wide range of commercial and general projects for clients.  At heart, I’m a naturalist, inspired to capture the wonder of God’s creation wherever it reveals itself—near or far.

Through photography, I’ve found endless ways to connect, inspire, and grow.  I look forward to both sharing my journey and learning from yours.
